Xiaomi Mi A1 Smartphone Is The First Android One Based Smartphone From The Chinese Manufacturer
We recent heard rumors about Xiaomi regarding their new smartphone lineup. Which includes their first Android One smartphone, made in collaboration with Google. Well as of yesterday it’s not a rumor anymore as Xiaomi announced its new Android one based smartphone in India Delhi.
Android One is basically a budget friendly device. Which provides stock experience for users who can’t afford high end smartphones, from Google or other manufactures. This is where companies like Xiaomi comes in who provide budget stock Android based smartphones with the help of Google. While the new Xiaomi Mi A1 is a perfect example of that.
In terms of specs the Xiaomi Mi A1 comes equipped with a 5.5 inch display. That supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080. There is also a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 running under the hood. That is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on board storage. Where to power it all the smartphones is equipped with a 3080mAh battery inside. The Xiaomi Mi A1 being an affordable smartphone also does not skip on the goodies. Which also includes the latest trend of a dual camera setup. This includes two 12MP main shooter at the back of the phone. Where one of them comes with a telephoto lens, something that is similar to the dual camera setup found on the iPhone 7 Plus.
Upon launch the Xiaomi Mi A1 will come with Android Nougat running out of the box. Though the smartphone will be getting updated to the latest Android Oreo OS when it arrives. The Xiaomi Mi A1 for now is only targeted toward India with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. Though user who are interested would also be able to get their hands on one pretty soon. While the international version will also come later on with some extra charges and should cost you around $300
The Xiaomi Mi A1 after hitting India will be targeting the European markets. That will include countries like US, Middle East and Africa.
