Universal Service Fund(USF) and Telenor signed on agreement of telecom services in Kohistan.

Universal Service Fund(USF) and Telenor finalised contract of telecom services project in Kohistan. It worth Rs 3.51 billion.

This project will provide fastest internet 3G internet service in Kohistan. Pakistan Finance Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar is the witnessed of the contract ceremony held at Ministry of IT on Wednesday.

 

 

Anusha Rehman Khan Minister of IT, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, and Murtaza Javed Abbasi The deputy Speaker at National Assembly have also attended the ceremony.

Pakistan Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said he appreciated to Minister of IT and USF for his efforts in the country. They trying to promote technologies in all over the country and he congratulated to their new project. He further added that Ministry of IT and ICT sector will also help in their project and full support to ensure accessibility.

Minister of IT and Telecom Mrs Anusha Rehman also start the project of 3G internet Mobile service in flung areas and urban areas in all the country. She also said that 9 lac peoples were living in the 1,283 villages, they will use 3G and broadband service in urban areas over the country. This project will improve urban areas people lives. They empower and will create job opportunities.

They also mentioned the areas of Kohistan Patten, Dassu, Palas, Balakot, Torghar, Mansehra, Oghi, Ghazi, Haripur, Abbottabad.

The CEO of Telenor Pakistan Irfan Wahab Khan added that this project will promoting technology aand digital inclusion all over the country. It will be empowered Pakistan.
