Universal Service Fund(USF) contract with Jazz Pakistan‘s largest network, USF sponsored jazz to establish 10 telecenters in Pakistan.

CEO of USF Mr Haaris Chaudhary and CEO of Jazz Mr Aamir Ibrahim signed the agreement with mutual understanding between both companies. They will establish 10 telecenters across Pakistan. Minister of IT Mrs Anusha Rehman was the witnessed of the ceremony. The agreement between both companies was finalised at Ministery of IT.

Minister of IT and Telecom Mrs Anusha Rehman said that they focus on flung areas to provide fastest internet service 3G. Telecenters is also the part of policy decision of our Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. They Plan that the telecenter will develop all over the country and facilitate all the areas across the country.

Minister of IT and Telecom Mrs Anusha Rehman stated that,

This is a proud moment for Jazz and a reflection of our commitment to bridge the digital divide in the country.

USF and Jazz mention that they will be established in Sargodha, Okara, Burewala, Arifwala, Shaikhupura and Fazilpur. And in KPK cities include Mingora, and Mardan and they are also establishing the telecenter in Sindh Shikarpur, and KN Shah

CEO of Jazz Aamir Ibrahim said that,

Together with the MoIT, we are changing the lives of 1000s of people; people that will now be able to communicate with loved ones from abroad, who will broaden their horizons by accessing knowledge from around the world, and who will be making their lives more convenient through world-class E-services.
