Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launches the third Civic Innovation Program, they launch on 7th March 2017 at Durshal Government Innovation Lab Peshawar.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board (KPITB), Code for Pakistan (CfP) and the World Bank Group launch together with the third KP Civic innovation program. They are set to launch revolutionising public service. KP Civic Innovation launch program for six months.
KPITB, CfP and World Bank, they launched two Fellowship program in 2014. They have successfully run the programs. Fellowship program partnered with seven Government departments including, Electricity Department, Health Department, KPITB, DoIT, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Disaster Management Authority.
There are many IT experts will work together including, software developers, designers, researcher, domain experts. They all work together at the KP Civic Innovation Fellowship program. They are also trying to improve government process. KP Civic Innovation will improve and create the solutions of public services.
Now KP set to launch third fellowship program to provide revolutionise public service from technology. They are selected 20 experts and qualified for the fellowship program. There thousands of applicants who applied for the program. These 20 experts divided into five groups, each group will work for a government and create the applications, they will improve the public services.
