The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced to issue fresh currency notes to general public from 1st to 14th of next month, for Eid-ul-Fitar .
The SBP as a team with Pakistan Banks Association (PBA) set up SMS short code 8877 for issuing crisp cash notes, which will be issued amid June 1 to 14. As indicated by a warning issued here, a man aiming to get new money notes would send message to 8877 alongside his CNIC number and branch code of chosen bank. The framework will react with sending exchange number and branch address.

No transaction code will be issued to senders if they send same CNIC / smart card number from different mobile numbers or addresses, it said.
A help desk has also been established at (021)- 111-008-877 to entertain queries / complaints of general public.
The subscriber would need to show his unique CNIC at the season of accepting new cash notes. Every subscriber can trade and get three bundles of Rs10, and each bundle of Rs50 and Rs100.
This office will be accessible at 1,535 business bank offices and SBP workplaces situated in 132 urban areas.
