Pakistan Government plans to tax on e-commerce sector business in Pakistan. According to the media, they reported that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will be announced on upcoming budget 2017-2018.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) submited e-commerce tax policy it may appeared after budget 2017-2018. Many e-commerce work in Pakistan country. The Tax policy will be held at Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarter on 16th March 2017.

These are the e-commerce sector works in Pakistan coountry:

  • business activities taking place through internet
  • online shopping
  • online trade
  • other electronic transactions through internet etc.

The Tax policy will be discused on 16th March at FBR headquater.

E-commerce tax policy will be appeared on business, their profit related, on income tax. The Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) instructions to the Chief Commissioners of Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs), they are mention that next financial budet 2017-2018 has commenced.

Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) may also present on the conference. Conference will be held on Thursday, 16th March 2017 at Federal Board of Revenue(FBR) headquarter Islamabad.

They will focus on removing probelm, the Chief commissioner make a small presentation for Tax policy.
