Gaming Report 2016: Mobile gaming revenue 25% higher than PC gaming revenue.


According to the analyst report, Mobile gaming revenue is 25% higher than PC and Mac gaming revenue in 2016.

Report added that 60% of the gaming revenue came from Asian countries and the mostly gaming revenue from China and Japan last year. People playing games for fun and for time pass. Mobile games are different than PC games.

Mobile games are the casual games, people can play the games when they are getting bored or playing for their comfort. But PC games play only mature audience who wants the most advanced graphics. Analyst report show that, 25% higher gaming revenue from mobiles and Mobile gaming generated higher income than PC and Mac gaming 2016.

SVP of Research at App Annie Danielle Levitas said,

The breakout success of Pokémon GO propelled mobile games further ahead of consoles, PC/Mac, and handheld consoles. As augmented and virtual reality technologies continue to emerge, we expect mobile will remain the largest revenue-generating platform for games.

They also added that China and Japan growth the mobile gaming revenue and reported that 60% of gaming revenue from Asian in 2016.

Fantasy Westward is the most highest ranking game in iOS, Monster Strike, Pokemon Sun, Pokemon Moon for Nintendo 3DS, Pokemon GO is at the third most gaming revenue generated.
