The year 2017 is definitely a year of competition in the field of smartphones as every brand is giving their best to release a smartphone with unique features. Samsung is coming up with Galaxy S8, Apple is coming up with iPhone 8, but its HTC whose grabbing most of the attention by announcing its next flagship device, the HTC U Ultra, which they claim will have unique features.
This flagship device will have a 5.7 inch quad HD display and will be its most high-end device because of its built quality and glossy finish unlike any other devices from HTC. It will also have a secondary display right on the top of the primary display, which can be used for quick access and notifications, but there is one serious change that it will have no headphone jack.
This smartphone will have specifications unlike any other previous HTC device as it is packed with Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB of RAM. It will have versions, 32 GB and 64GB. Both will have a microSD card slot, through which the storage can be expanded up to a massive of 2TB. It will have a 16 MP UltraPixel primary camera and a 16 MP front facing camera. The headphones are replaced with a newer technology called the Usonic earphones, which uses sonar-like capabilities. It will also have 3,000 mAh battery, which is comparatively less compared to its rival smartphones, but they may provide a battery mode which would be quite better.
They are also making this smartphone to be more artificially intelligent as HTC has introduced ‘Sense Companion’, which is actually a virtual voice-activated assistant. This could attract much more customers as they are always hungry for new features and innovations.
It will arrive in four different color choices; black, blue, white and pink. It will in March in the markets with the price starting from 749$.
