MOU Has Been signed for first FinTech centre in Lahore, Pakistan.


FinTech, Information Technology University (ITU), Digital Financial Services Research Group (DFSRG), University of Washington (Seattle, USA) Memorandum of Understanding signed for the first Fintech centre in Lahore, Pakistan.

Vice Chancellor of ITU Dr. Umar Saif, Dr. Richard Anderson, Head DFSRG and Professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Washington signed the agreement.

According to MOU, the domains of authentication, fraud prevention, financial education, financial management, data analytics, and customer experience in digital studies at the first Fintech center in Lahore. The research center can help to Pakistan financial technology.

The Fintech can promote and go to digital and promote both governments Government-to-Person (G2P) and Person-to-Government (P2G).

According to Dr. Richard Anderson said that, It would facilitate the Smartphones and transactions in the system, it was the first system in the world with Pakistan. It will be extended to the asian countires and Africans too.
