We don’t deserve dogs.
I know many of us say this statement but why do we even say it? What is it about dogs that make us think we don’t deserve them? Well, it is usually because of how loyal a dog can be and that is not even mentioning the companionship they provide to humans. This may sound weird but there has been research that indicates that having a pet can actually affect your physical health, especially your cardiovascular health.
However, that is not usually the reason people get pets. We adopt pets because they simply make us happy. They help us with loneliness and these days, it is particularly important because of the pandemic. So it is no surprise that the adoption rate for cats and dogs increased dramatically over the past year. That is why we have a few pictures that will just melt your heart with how adorable they are. Our four-legged fluffy doggos deserve the world.

Thor isn’t their dad, by the way.

Having any sort of pet has been proven to increase your dopamine level which in turn reduces stress and makes you happy.
